I am a pre-service teacher educator at a local community college in NJ. I have been a long time member of NEA/NJEA; and I am concerned. If the NEA is worried about the public perception of the teacher unions, why is there no representative from the Association speaking at Education Nation events? We keep seeing Randi Weingarten from AFT, but there is repeatedly no one from NEA. Is there a particular reason?
