Must Reads – Common Core State Standards

The final version of the Common Core State Standards were released yesterday. The standards outline the skills and knowledge that every student should share in math and English. Kentucky, Hawaii, Maryland, and West Virginia have signed on, and more states are expected to adopt the standards as Race to the Top requires state action by Aug. 2. Source: Education Week
