Florida teacher Jo Ann Nahirny urges politicians to drop by her classroom. Maybe they will understand what she and other educator have to grapple with. “If test scores reveal that my students reading skills haven’t improved, I’ll be to blame. But should my salary and my family’s livelihood suffer for things I can’t control?” Nahirny asks.
