Human Rights Day – December 10

December 10 is the anniversary of the United Nations General Assembly’s adoption in 1948 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. The UN General Assembly is expected this week to formally adopt the UN Declaration on Human Rights Education and Training, which recognizes the right of every one of the plant’s seven billion people to have access to human rights education.Learn more about Human Rights Day.
