Why School Choice Fails

The school choice program, writes a Washington D.C. parent, was supposed to bring choice and accountability to the school system. Instead, it has destroyed community-based education for working-class families. “The situation for Washington’s working- and middle-class families may be bleak, but we are hardly alone.
