Pennsylvania teacher Sara Ferguson will be featured on the “Ellen DeGeneres Show” today. Ferguson, a third generation educator, teaches literacy and math at Columbus Elementary in the Chester Upland school district. In early January, teachers and staff were told that there wouldn’t be enough money to pay them because the district was running out of state funding. Members of the Chester Upland Education Association voted to work as long as they could for delayed compensation.
