NEA President Dennis Van Roekel Sends Letter to President Obama on State of the Union

NEA President Dennis Van Roekel today sent a letter to President Barack Obama about his upcoming State of the Union Address. The letter outlines three “opportunity” principles that educators believe should guide the president’s second term agenda as well as specific policy priorities that will go a long way towards fulfilling the ambitious and bold agenda president Obama outlined during his second Inaugural Address.
