As a dedicated educator, you know the importance of creating safe and supportive environments for your students; now, it's time to extend that same care to yourself.  Mindful Practices for Educators is designed to help you cultivate a sense of calm and clarity.

In this course, you will:

  • Understand the term mindfulness.
  • Learn about mindfulness practices and routines.
  • Explore mindfulness for personal growth and well-being.
  • Consider implementing mindfulness as a consistent professional practice.

NEA (facilitated) national online blended learning courses run six weeks with suggested deadlines to help you pace yourself and provide a certificate for *15 hours of professional development upon completion. 

  • Courses run May 01 - June 05, 2024
  • Pre-registration Closes: April 22, 2024
  • Wednesday Virtual Meeting Dates: (5/01, 5/15, & 6/05)
  • Wednesday Virtual Meeting Times: 4 pm Pacific / 6 pm Central / 7 pm Eastern
